Agricultural Biotechnology - How To Avoid Genetically Modified Food

Genetically-modified food (GM Food) has become the subject of a lot of debates and it is more common in the United States and Canada than in other countries around the world. Argentina, China and Brazil are also distributors of the food that has rocked the culinary world. Food that has been genetically altered is said to cause no harm to the consumer and it is identical in appearance to regular food.

Agricultural biotechnology is the method of producing food that has resulted in what is now known as genetically modified food. This process is said to be involved in at least 85 percent of the food we eat.
